Caring Friends and Neighbors
The Nederland Community Presbyterian Church is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA). We appreciate diversity, and we treasure openness to new ideas of what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ in our time. For us, a fellowship is alive where people are free to live in genuine openness to God and to each other.
Following the example of our Lord, as his disciples, we strive to be an inclusive congregation. We celebrate our common faith and welcome people of every race, color, gender, age and life situation. Our emphasis is on caring, accepting and tolerance, not judging. We speak of our church as a ‘family’ and believe that before anything else that may seek to divide us, we are brothers and sisters in Christ.
What’s Going On?
Do you think summer is coming to a close? Well, for the next worship series, we’re taking a camping trip On the Trail with God! Moses was a great camper. We too can be inspired, fight injustice, make our tent where we belong, and start a new life full of God’s promises. Come to worship this August and September to see what life can be like On the Trail with God! … [more...]

Whether we’re packing meals to feed hungry kids in Africa or reaching out to hungry folks along the Peak to Peak, whether … [more...]
Nederland Community Presbyterian Church wants to share with our neighbors a few ways we can help with the fire recovery and with reducing the risk for the future. First, we have donated $5000 to the Peak to Peak Healthy Communities Project, to help meet any needs that come up for folks significantly affected the fire. Insurance will do a lot, but if the stress has built up and you need to get away with your partner, make a request. If you want … [more...]
